Ray Wong

Ray Wong is an experienced executive in risk management and technology, currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer for Risk Management Asia and Head of Data Science (Market Risk) at Societe Generale Corporate and Investment Banking since January 2018. Ray is also an Industrial Fellow at The Chinese University of Hong Kong's Engineering FinTech Applied Research Academy and a Computer Science Project Instructor at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, where Ray teaches advanced topics in FinTech, machine learning, and AI. Prior experience includes positions at HSBC Global Banking and Markets as an IT Manager, Reuters as a System Analyst, and the Research & Development Center as a Software Engineer. Ray holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from The Chinese University of Hong Kong and a Master of Science in Financial Analysis from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
