Winnie Qian PENG has extensive experience in academia and research. Winnie Qian currently holds multiple roles at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, including Director of the Roger King Center for Asian Family Business and Family Office, Director of the Thompson Center for Business Case Studies, and Adjunct Associate Professor in Finance. Winnie Qian previously served as the Director of the Tanoto Center for Asian Family Business and Entrepreneurship Studies and the Associate Director of the Center for Asian Family Business and Entrepreneurship. Prior to their current positions, they were the Associate Director of the Center for Business Case Studies. Additionally, they are a Board Member at IFERA (International Family Enterprise Research Academy) and a Committee member of AAPBS (Association of Asia-Pacific Business Schools) Case Center.

Winnie Qian PENG has a Phd in Finance from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, earned from 2003 to 2007. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Tsinghua University, from 1999 to 2003.
