Scott Atlas is a Robert Wesson Senior Fellow at The Hoover Institution, Stanford University, specializing in health care policy since May 2012. Atlas served as a Special Advisor to the President at The White House for a brief period from August 2020 to November 2020. Previously, Atlas held the position of Professor and Chief of Neuroradiology at Stanford University School of Medicine from July 1998 to May 2012. Atlas earned a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from The University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine from 1977 to 1981 and a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 1973 to 1977.
