Stephen Bruer

Stephen Bruer has extensive experience in business analysis and technological leadership within educational institutions. Currently serving as Assistant Director of Business Enablement at The Hoover Institution, Stanford University, since April 2021, Stephen has previously held various roles at the University of California, San Francisco, including Senior Manager of Business Enablement and Interim Data & Technology Manager, where responsibilities included overseeing technical programs and project management. At Wayne State University as Academic Services Officer, Stephen coordinated undergraduate medical education courses and developed education technology resources. Early in career at Mercy Hospital, Stephen worked as a Multi-Skilled Assistant, providing direct patient care. Stephen holds a BA in Globalization Studies from Gettysburg College and has further educational credentials from the School for International Training.
