The Hospital for Sick Children
Saäd Rafi was most recently a Partner and the National Public Sector Leader at Deloitte LLP retiring in 2019. He was formerly the CEO of the Ontario Retirement Pension Plan Administration Corporation. Rafi was the CEO of the Toronto 2015 Pan Am Parapan Am Games Organizing Committee.
Prior to this role Rafi was the Deputy Minister of Health and Long Term Care from 2010 to 2014. During his tenure the Ministry undertook the most significant transformation of the health system in a generation. Over the course of his 25 year career with the Ontario Public Service, Rafi was also the Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Community Safety (formerly Public Safety and Policing Services), Ministry of Transportation and the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure. Rafi was appointed a Deputy Minister in the Ontario government in February of 2003, by then Premier Ernie Eves.
Rafi joined the SickKids Board of Trustees in 2014.
