Andrew Gallini

Andrew Gallini currently serves as the Chief Nursing Officer and Deputy Director of Nursing at the Hospital of St John and St Elizabeth, a position held since January 2009. In this role, Andrew focuses on quality and safety in clinical incidents, manages staff across hospital wards, and oversees the effective use of hospital beds while being the Accountable Officer for Controlled Drugs. Additionally, Andrew has held the position of Director of Clinical Services at St John's Hospice, providing overall leadership and ensuring compliance with Care Quality Commission standards. Previous experience includes roles as Consultant on a research study at Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust and Lead Nurse for Medicine at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, where Andrew contributed to national campaigns on dignity in care and dementia care. Andrew's education includes a Professional Doctorate in Nursing from the University of Portsmouth and a Master’s Degree in Nursing from the University of Southampton.
