David Bloom

David Bloom is a seasoned venture capital professional currently serving as Principal at The House Fund since October 2023. Bloom has played key roles at Nextgen Partners, holding positions as Board Chair and Board Member since October 2019, where the focus is on supporting emerging venture capital investors. Previously, Bloom was a Senior Fellow at New Buildings Institute for a year and held various positions at Signia Venture Partners from March 2019 to September 2023, including Senior Associate, Associate, and Analyst. Bloom began a career in venture capital as a Student Investor at The House Fund from May 2016 to May 2018 and contributed as an Investment Partner at Dorm Room Fund. Bloom holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of California, Berkeley, along with a Certificate of Entrepreneurship and Technology.
