Therese Hayes

Therese Hayes is the current Chief Sustainability & Business Development Officer at The House of LR&C. Therese has been in this role for 2 years and 7 months. Prior to this, they were the President of THInc., a specialized consulting firm in strategic business, financial services, investor relations, corporate development and communications. Therese was with THInc. for 14 years. Therese is also a Founding Partner of Shhh...its a secret for now but stay tuned...secret’s out: The House of LR&C, which they have been with for 5 months.

Before their current role, Therese was the Interim VP Marketing at Saje Natural Wellness, where they led the marketing team through a period of transition and developed a successful new market entry strategy that led to the highest ever new store opening performance. Therese was also responsible for creating a 3 year roadmap for the loyalty program and establishing the company’s inaugural sustainability program. Therese was at Saje Natural Wellness for 1 year and 3 months.

Previously, Therese was the Chief Brand & Strategy Officer at Luvo Foods for 3 years and 1 month. Before that, they were the svp communications & sustainability at lululemon for 2 years and 8 months. Therese has also held the role of Head, Corporate Development at Day4 Energy Inc. for 3 years and Vice President Investor Relations and Corporate Communications at QLT Inc. for 7 years.

Therese Hayes has a Masters in Health Administration from the University of Ottawa, which they obtained in 1994. Therese also has a Masters in Microbiology and Immunology from the University of Ottawa, which they obtained in 1992. Lastly, they have a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Waterloo, which they obtained in 1989.
