Emma Ursich serves as a Board Member at Generali Convention Center Trieste, Social Impact Agenda per l'Italia, and Venice Sustainability Foundation, all since 2022, and has been an Executive Officer at The Human Safety Net since 2016. Emma has extensive experience in communications and corporate identity, currently acting as Group Head of External Communications and Corporate Identity at Generali, a role that has been held since 2006, alongside previous positions in events and sponsorship. Emma's earlier professional background includes a directorial role at Noesis from 2003 to 2005. Academically, Emma holds a Bachelor's Degree in Oriental Studies - Chinese from the University of Oxford and is currently pursuing the Generali Leadership Program at MIT Sloan School of Management and the Board Readiness Programme at European Women on Boards.

The Human Safety Net
The Human Safety Net is a global movement of people helping people. Our mission is to unlock the potential of people living in vulnerable circumstances, so that they can transform the lives of their families and communities. Our programs support vulnerable families with young children (0-6 years) and integrate refugees through work and entrepreneurship. To do so, we bring together the strengths of non-profit organizations and the private sector, in Europe, Asia and South America. We are an open net and we welcome working with companies, organizations and foundations who share the same goals. The Human Safety Net is now active in over 20 countries. Our home is in Venice, in the historic Procuratie Vecchie on St Mark’s Square.
