Laura Jacko

Laura Jacko possesses extensive experience in fundraising, donor relations, and entrepreneurship. Currently serving as a Climatebase Fellow, Laura also holds the position of Senior Donor Relations Officer at The Humane League, where responsibilities include cultivating relationships with donors and managing grant processes. As Co-Owner of Harp and Hound Jewelry, Laura leads marketing efforts and customer relations for an eco-friendly jewelry business. Previous roles include Director of Development at the University of Pittsburgh's Starzl Transplant Institute and Major Gifts Officer at both the University of Pittsburgh and Magee-Womens Research Institute, with demonstrable success in increasing donor contributions and engagement. Educational credentials include two Bachelor of Arts degrees in English and French from Westminster College.
