Michele Reid

Michele Reid is an experienced professional in the field of active living and recreation, currently serving as Part Time Faculty and Course Developer at Humber College since June 2022. Previously, Michele held the position of National Director for Active Living at COGIR Real Estate from December 2023 until the restructuring of the Strategic Operations Department in February 2024. Prior to this, Michele was the National Director of Active Living (Recreation) at Revera Inc. from June 2017 to December 2023, and Regional Manager for Life Enrichment at Chartwell Retirement Residences from January 2015 to June 2017. Michele began a career in wellness and vitality management at Amica Mature Lifestyles, where roles included Wellness & Vitality Manager for the Eastern Region and Wellness & Vitality Coordinator from February 2005 to December 2014. Michele Reid holds a Diploma in Management Studies from the University of Waterloo (2008-2013) and an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Recreation & Leisure, with a Therapeutic Recreation option and a Gerontology minor from the same institution (2000-2004).
