Jarvis Lundy is an experienced educational leader currently serving as the Director of Educator Diversity at The Hunt Institute since November 2023. Previously, Jarvis held the position of Head of Future Black Teachers at Teach.org from January 2022 to November 2023, and worked as a Facilitator at nXu Education from March 2021 to June 2023. Jarvis also served as Program Director at Breakthrough Houston between January 2020 and July 2022, and was the Founding Principal of IDEA Spears at IDEA Public Schools from July 2018 to January 2020. Additional experience includes roles as Principal and Principal in Residence at ReNEW Schools Charter Management Organization from July 2013 to June 2018, and as Kindergarten Lead Teacher and Grade Level Chair at Success Preparatory Academy from July 2010 to June 2013. Jarvis has also contributed as a Corps Member Advisor for Teach For America in the summer of 2012. Educational qualifications include a Master of Public Administration from The University of Texas Permian Basin and a Bachelor of Arts in African-American/Black Studies from the University of Miami.
