Rachel Hunt

Rachel Hunt was elected to the North Carolina House of Representatives in 2018 and she assumed office on January 1, 2019. She is currently running for election to the state senate to represent District 42. Hunt is also the Principal and Owner of Huntforcollege, L.L.C., an independent education consultation agency helping students and their families in the college search. From 2016-2019, Hunt served as a member on the Board of Directors for the North Carolina Foundation for Public School Children. She was the Chair for the Board of Directors for the Charlotte Secondary School and GenerationNation, a nonprofit designed for students to build civic literacy and leadership and has served on their Board since 2012. Additionally, she has been on several other local nonprofit Boards helping students and educational causes since 2010.
