Annika Sunkara

Annika Sunkara is currently serving as a Press Fellow for the U.S. House of Representatives and as a Social Media Coordinator for the Disability Justice Project, both roles commenced in 2024. Simultaneously, Annika holds the position of Audiovisual/Social Media Editor at The Huntington News since April 2023, where responsibilities include pitching, producing, and editing vertical video content for social platforms, designing graphic posts, and creating weekly newsletters. Prior experience includes a Communications Intern role at Dublin City Schools in late 2021, focusing on video editing, event planning, podcasting, social media, and community outreach, as well as serving as a Speaker Coordinator for TEDxInnovationDr from 2020 to 2021. Annika is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism at Northeastern University, expected to graduate in 2026, having previously attended Dublin Jerome High School.
