Craig Drummond

Craig Drummond is an experienced executive with a diverse background in finance and corporate leadership. Currently serving as Chairman of the Australian Foundation Investment Company, Transurban, and the Ian Potter Foundation, Drummond was previously the President of the Geelong Cats from 2021 until December 2024. Craig's experience includes key leadership roles such as Chief Executive Officer at Medibank from 2016 to May 2021, and as Group Executive of Finance and Strategy at National Australia Bank from 2013 to 2016, where significant strategic transformations were implemented. Drummond also held the position of Chief Executive Officer and Country Head at Bank of America Merrill Lynch from 2009 to 2013, successfully leading the firm to profitability in Australia. Craig's career began at Goldman Sachs JB Were, where Craig served as Chief Executive Officer after initially starting as an equity analyst. Drummond holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne, completed the Advanced Management Program at The Wharton School, and is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.
