Beth Larkin

Beth Larkin is an HR Business Partner at The ICC Birmingham. Beth has previously worked as an HR Advisor at the Barbican Centre from December 2014 to March 2018. In their role as an HR Advisor, Beth was responsible for providing support to 1000+ employees across both organisations. Beth also developed collaborative working relationships with Directors and Managers and provided coaching to them in order to develop their capability in managing short and medium-term HR issues. Beth has also managed end to end recruitment campaigns for roles up to and including Head of Department, across a diverse range of departments and roles. In addition, they have also managed a range of complex employee relations casework liaising with trade union representatives and external legal advisors as necessary. Beth has also acted as a HR Systems representative (iTrent), ensuring system adaptations meet the requirements of the business and rolling out training for managers. Lastly, they have provided support and lead on wider organisational HR projects, including developing learning and development opportunities, employee engagement and diversity and inclusion initiatives.

Beth Larkin has a PG Diploma in Human Resource Management from London Metropolitan University, a CPP Certificate in Personnel Practice from University Centre at Blackburn College, and a BA (Hons) in Sociology from Sheffield University. Beth also has A-levels from Clitheroe Royal Grammar School. Beth is certified by LinkedIn in HR as a Business Partner and by the CIPD in MCIPD.
