Jj Jimenez

JJ Jimenez has a diverse work experience in the field of photography and creative direction. In 2008, they started their career as a freelance photographer and director, working on various commercial, beauty, and fashion projects. JJ is skilled in different lighting techniques and comfortable working in studio or on locations. In 2013, they became a freelance producer, planning, scheduling, and executing photo and video shoots for advertising and editorial purposes. JJ has experience in location scouting, logistics, budgeting, and managing production teams. In 2016, JJ founded Soon is Today, an independent digital magazine and creative agency that focuses on emerging trends in fashion, beauty, and culture. JJ also co-founded Friends and Creatives in 2017, where they managed artists and provided creative services to produce modern content. Additionally, in 2011, they co-founded PopUpPix, a company that brings a digital photo studio to events for capturing moments and corporate branding. Currently, JJ is working as a creative photographer at THE ICONIC since September 2020.

JJ Jimenez attended the School of Visual Arts from 2004 to 2006, where they obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree with a focus on photography.
