Percy Chen

Percy Chen has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Percy started their career as a Software Engineer at Australia Water Technologies in 2000 and later became an IT Consultant. In 2003, Percy transitioned to Sydney Water and held multiple roles including Information Systems Analyst, BI Architect, and Software Engineer. After ten years at Sydney Water, they joined PepsiCo in 2013 as a BI Tech Lead. In 2015, Percy moved to Lendlease as a BI Applications Consultant before joining Westfield in 2017 as a Senior BI Engineer. Their most recent position is as a TM1 Tech Lead at THE ICONIC, which they started in 2020.

Percy Chen has an MBA in Technology Management from Chifley Business School. Percy also holds a Master's Degree in Computer Science from UNSW and a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial & Management Engineering (Honours) from Zhejiang University. In addition to their formal education, Percy has obtained several certifications. Percy completed courses on Creating Dashboards and Storytelling with Tableau, Visual Analytics with Tableau, Essential Design Principles for Tableau, and Fundamentals of Visualization with Tableau from Coursera. Percy has also completed various courses on Google Cloud Infrastructure, including Reliable Google Cloud Infrastructure: Design and Process, Elastic Cloud Infrastructure: Containers and Services, Architecting with Google Compute Engine Specialization, Elastic Google Cloud Infrastructure: Scaling and Automation, Essential Google Cloud Infrastructure: Core Services, and Essential Google Cloud Infrastructure: Foundation. Percy has additionally obtained certifications from Google, including Google Certified Professional Data Engineer and Google Cloud Certified Professional Data Engineer.
