Roger Yu

Roger Yu is a seasoned data scientist with extensive experience in various roles focused on data-driven decision-making and model development. Currently serving as a Senior Data Scientist at THE ICONIC, Roger has previously held senior data science positions at Feedzai and Pacific Life Re, where significant contributions included implementing advanced analytical techniques, improving fraud detection systems, and optimizing lapse prediction models. Additionally, Roger's prior experience at AMP encompassed a range of analytical roles, including migrating complex financial models to modern programming languages and automating processes for efficiency. Roger Yu holds a Master's degree in Data Science and a Master's degree in Quantitative Finance from the University of Technology Sydney, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Studies from Macquarie University.
