Spela Adamic has a diverse and extensive work experience. In 2005, they worked as a Strategy Business Development Manager at Humanik Hit d.o.o. where they successfully developed and led the company's business strategy. From 2006 to 2011, they worked as a Senior Project Manager at HERMES SoftLab, the largest software development company in Slovenia. At Bisnode, they served as the Head of Software Development from 2011 to 2014 and was responsible for managing a team of experts across 17 European countries. Spela then joined Data#3 in 2014 as a PM/BA role in the Managed Solutions Division. In 2015, they worked as a Program Manager at Tquila ANZ, focusing on Salesforce consulting. From 2016 to 2021, they were the Head of PMO at amaysim, where they established a lean PMO and focused on agile practices. In 2021, they joined Optus as an Associate Director, PMO. Furthermore, they have experience as a Founder and Coach at LeanX Australia, where they developed a unique coaching approach utilizing their business experience and background in psychology. Lastly, they currently work at THE ICONIC as the Head of Project Management Office.

Spela Adamic completed their Bachelor of Communication Science degree from the University of Ljubljana, where they majored in communications, economy, planning, and management. Spela attended the university from 2003 to 2010. Additionally, Spela Adamic has obtained several certifications, including Certified Embodiment Coach and Certified Embodiment Facilitator from Embodiment Unlimited, both achieved in 2022. Spela also holds a Certified SCRUM Master certification from Scrum Alliance obtained in 2012 and a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute obtained in 2015.
