Thuy Tran

Thuy Tran has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Thuy started their career as an Accountant at Stewarts Accountants & Business Adviser Pty Ltd in 2009 and worked there for two and a half years. They then joined Foster Raffan as a Supervisor in 2011, where they stayed for four years. In 2015, Thuy moved to Deloitte Australia and held the role of Senior Analyst - Tax & Advisory for two years before being promoted to Manager, a position they held until 2019. In the same year, they joined Canon Australia as a Senior Group Tax and Treasury Specialist for nearly five months before joining THE ICONIC as a Tax and Treasury Manager, where they are currently employed.

Thuy Tran completed a Bachelor of Commerce/Law degree with Distinction from UNSW, specializing in Accounting. Thuy then pursued further education at Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, obtaining a GradDipCA in 2009-2011. In 2013, Thuy completed a GradDip Legal Practice from The College of Law Australia. Thuy continued their education at UNSW, earning a Master of Taxation (Mtax) degree from 2015-2017. Thuy also obtained additional certifications, becoming a Registered Tax Agent in December 2015 through the Tax Practitioners Board, a Chartered Accountant in November 2011 through Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, and a Xero Certified Program in June 2016 through Xero.
