Nick Harness has worked in various roles within the identity validation and security industry. Nick started their career as the CEO of The Identity Organisation in 1998, where they provided services and systems for identity validation and customer onboarding. In addition, they offered compliance services and security awareness training to prevent data breaches.
Later, Nick worked as the Director at Accredex from 2019, contributing to the company's operations and management.
From 2010 to 2019, Nick served as the Secretary of PREFIT, an organization aimed at reducing harm caused by insiders to employers. Nick gathered and analyzed information about insider threats and shared them with targeted employers to minimize their impact.
Nick also worked as the Strategic Liaison Director at TrustID from 2011 to 2015, developing solutions for identity authentication.
Lastly, as the Director of Experian Background Checking from 2002 to 2010, Nick was responsible for sales, marketing, PR, thought leadership, and service initiatives for BackgroundChecking.com.
Nick Harness attended Sir William Borlase from 1978 to 1981. Nick then went on to study Engineering at Rycotewood, Oxford from 1981 to 1985.
