Bart Maas

Bart Maas is an experienced Decommissioning Engineer and Lead at Vår Energi, responsible for managing the planning and execution of the Jotun A FPSO removal and related operations. Prior to this role, Bart held various positions at IKM Testing AS, including Senior Lead Engineer & Senior Advisor, Engineering Manager, and Lead Engineer - Subsea, contributing expertise in mechanical completion, commissioning, and decommissioning services for the Oil & Gas industry. Bart's career also includes positions as Project Manager - Subsea and Project Engineer - Subsea, alongside a role as a Pipeline R&D engineer during an international internship. Bart holds an M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology, attained in 2008.
