Joanna Phipps has a diverse work experience in the events and hospitality industry. Joanna started their career as an Event Co-ordinator at Conference Action in 2004. Joanna then joined Ambro Events in 2005 as an Event Manager, where they were responsible for creating and running large-scale hospitality villages at prestigious events such as Royal Ascot, Wimbledon, and Henley Regatta. Joanna also handled sponsorship activation for key patrons at golf tournaments like the Open Golf and Ryder Cup. In addition, they developed and delivered international sales incentives for Pitney Bowes and organized conferences, product road-shows, showcases, and dinners for clients like Apax Partners and Alcatel Lucent. In 2010, Joanna joined iLUKA as an Account Manager, where they worked their way up to the position of Senior Account Director. Currently, they hold the role of Head of Strategic Product Development at iLUKA, which they started in April 2018.
Joanna Phipps attended Burnham Grammar School from 1993 to 1999 where they completed their A Levels in Art, Business Studies, and Geography. Joanna then went on to Nottingham University Business School from 2000 to 2003 and achieved a 2:1 degree in Management Studies.
