Patrick Burns Jr.

Patrick Burns Jr. currently serves as the Director of Finance and Operations at The Independence School, a position held since July 2021. Previously, Patrick served in the same role at Centreville Layton School from February 2004 to June 2021, where responsibilities included budgeting, payroll, benefits administration, human resources, endowment management, accounts receivable, and vendor relations, as well as participation on the administrative team and key financial committees. In addition to financial management, Patrick also contributed as an assistant coach for the soccer and lacrosse teams and directed technology initiatives, overseeing the school's student information system and IT infrastructure. Patrick holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management with a concentration in Management Information Systems from Widener University, completed in 2003, and graduated from Salesianum School in 1999.
