Timothy Costello

Tim Costello serves as the Head of School at The Independence School, a position held since July 2023. Prior to this, Tim acted as Head of School at Science & Arts Academy from July 2013 to June 2023 and held roles as a Teacher/Administrator at Open Window School from September 2002 to June 2013. Tim's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Villanova University, a Master's degree in Educational Leadership from the University of San Francisco, and ongoing studies at the Kellogg School of Management and the Klingenstein Heads Fellowship at Teachers College, Columbia University. Additionally, Tim is pursuing a Certificate of Leader Development from the US Army War College, scheduled to complete in July 2024.
