Zine Mshengu CA(SA), CISA, currently serves as Divisional Head of Financial Conglomerate Supervision at the South African Reserve Bank since January 2023. In addition, Zine holds positions as Non-Executive Director and Chairperson of the Audit Committee, as well as Chairperson of the Committee for Auditing Standards at The Independent Regulatory Board for Auditors since April 2020. Previous experience includes serving as Divisional Head of Industry Technical Support at the Prudential Authority, Head of Advisory Services at FirstRand Group, and various roles at the South African Reserve Bank and Standard Bank, focused on accounting, auditing, and capital management. Zine's academic qualifications include an MSc in Finance, Financial Sector Management from the University of London and a BCom (Hons) in Accounting from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
