Bethan Kapur

Bethan Kapur is an experienced video and editorial producer with a strong background in journalism and media. Currently serving as a Video Producer at The Independent since March 2023, Bethan has previously held the position of Editorial Producer at Future and worked as the East England Correspondent for Time Out Group plc. A notable achievement includes producing a YouTube series titled "Behind the Scenes at the Guardian" while working as a Video Producer for The Guardian. Additional roles include Headline Editor at Content IQ and Copywriter at Dext, as well as experience as a Junior Producer at PinkNews and a Freelance Producer at VICE Media. Bethan began the career with an internship at Museums Journal and holds a Master’s degree in Journalism from City, University of London and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Sussex.
