Joe Dawson

Joe Dawson possesses a strong background in video journalism and production, currently serving as an Assistant Video News Editor at The Independent since February 2020, and has also held positions such as Acting Video Editor and Senior Social Media Video Journalist. Prior experience includes working as a Freelance Digital Producer at Channel 5 and serving as a Social Media Manager for CLGdotTV. Joe started in the field as an Intern Reporter at KMTV and undertook internships during academic studies at the University of Kent, where a Bachelor's degree in Journalism was obtained. Joe's educational journey includes attendance at Queen Elizabeth Grammar School and Simon Langton Girls Grammar School.
