Louise Boyle

Louise Boyle is a seasoned journalist currently serving as the US Deputy News Editor and Senior Climate Correspondent at The Independent since March 2020. Prior to this role, Louise held the position of Senior Reporter-at-large at DailyMail.com from October 2011 to March 2020, where focus was on breaking news and investigative reporting for a vast readership. Earlier experience includes roles as Senior Reporter at MailOnline and Assistant Features Editor at the Irish Daily Mail, along with foundational roles at the Belfast Telegraph and as a Graduate Trainee at Daily Mail. Louise earned a degree in English Literature from The University of Edinburgh between 2002 and 2007.
