Mariana Bettio

Mariana Bettio has extensive work experience in the field of digital media and product management. Mariana is currently working as the Head of Product at The Independent since September 2021. Prior to this, they served as a Senior Product Manager at Immediate Media Co from April 2019 to September 2021. Mariana's previous experience includes working at BBC Worldwide as a Product Manager from August 2015 to April 2019 and as a Digital Content Producer from November 2011 to August 2015. Mariana also worked at The Times as a Web Development Editor from July 2010 to November 2011 and as a Search Content Producer from August 2007 to July 2010, along with a role as a Web Content Producer from January 2005 to July 2007.

Mariana Bettio earned a Bachelor's degree in Media and Journalism from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul between 1998 and 2002. Mariana then pursued further education, obtaining a MA/MSc degree in Electronic Publishing from City, University of London from 2006 to 2008.
