Phil Cutts currently serves as the Insight Lead at The Independent since October 2020, building on a substantial background in strategic insight and research across multiple prominent organizations. Prior to this role, Phil was the Head of Strategic Insight at ESI Media, and before that, held positions such as Senior Research Manager at The Exchange Lab, International Research & Brand Development Director at Time Inc., and Head of Research for advertising marketing at The Economist. Phil's extensive experience also includes leadership roles in marketing and research strategy for the magazine industry and serving as a Board Director at NRS Ltd. Educationally, Phil has pursued studies at Northumbria University, Harper Adams University, and Worksop College.
