Roisin O'Connor

Roisin O'Connor is the Music Editor at The Independent since April 2014, where Roisin leads music coverage, works on exclusive news stories, investigations, and analysis. Roisin also works as the booker for Music Box sessions, writes the weekly newsletter Now Hear This, and coordinates partnerships with music-related events. In addition to their role at The Independent, Roisin is also the Culture News and Music Editor, a Music Correspondent, and has previous experience in freelance journalism, social media assistance, and reporting for various publications. Roisin holds a Master's Degree in Newspaper Journalism from City, University of London and a Bachelor's Degree in English with Creative Writing from Swansea University.
