Mandar Thakur

Mandar Thakur is the Chief Operating Officer of Times Music, a division of Bennett Coleman and Co. Ltd. (Times Group), since December 2010. Responsible for the long-term vision, global strategic roadmap, and overall operations of Times Music, Mandar oversees a team of over 70 individuals and manages financial growth and industry leadership. In addition to the role at Times Music, Mandar serves as a Board Director for the Indian Music Industry, a Board Member for the Indian Performing Right Society Limited (IPRS), and Chairman of the Board for PPL India. Past experience includes pivotal positions at Soundbuzz and Motorola, where Mandar was instrumental in shaping the digital music landscape in Asia. Mandar's early career included significant contributions to Channel [V] and The Entertainment Co. in Hong Kong.
