The Indiana Rail Road Company

Thirty Years of Exponential Growth A Culture of Service and Innovation When the Indiana Rail Road Company began operation as an upstart regional railroad in 1986, we set out to make a difference in the way rail service was viewed and valued by customers. Today we are regarded as a transportation and technology leader, moving the equivalent of 800,000 truckloads of freight in an environmentally-friendly manner, because we live by these principles: We earn our customers’ trust by doing what we say we’re going to do. We invest ahead of the growth curve, envisioning tomorrow’s opportunities. We empower our people with a sense of leadership and entrepreneurial spirit. We do all this with safety top of mind.
