Kym Allison Backer

Kym Allison Backer has had a long and varied career in the media industry. Kym Allison began as the Editor in Chief of Upscale Magazine in 2004, then moved on to become the Travel and Lifestyle Editor of Ebony Magazine in 2014. In 2015, they became a Contributing Editor at UPTOWN Magazine, followed by a Contributor role at Forbes in 2018. In 2020, they expanded their contributor roles to include Forbes, Conde Nast Traveler and Departures. Currently, they are the Editorial Director at The Infatuation, a position they have held since 2022. Additionally, they have served as the Vice President of the Greater Atlanta Automotive Media Association since 2009.
