Brian Turner

Brian Turner is currently the Manager of Growth Analytics at The Information since January 2024. Previously, as a Data Scientist at The Wall Street Journal from December 2017 to January 2024, Brian led the development of an automated BigQuery data pipeline, utilized NLP techniques to enhance headline-writing processes, and deployed machine learning models to forecast web traffic. Prior experience includes roles as a Data Analyst at The Wall Street Journal, a Data Scientist at Metis, and various sales positions at Ace Hotel / Atelier Ace, where Brian achieved recognition as the top corporate group salesperson. Brian began a career in journalism, with early roles as a legislative intern and freelance reporter, and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism from the University of Washington.
