Evan Robinson Johnson

Evan Robinson Johnson is a journalist with extensive experience covering topics such as space, autonomy, information technology, steel, and artificial intelligence. Currently serving as a correspondent for The Information since April 2025, Evan previously worked at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette as a journalist focusing on similar industries. Prior roles include a tech/antitrust intern reporter at The Capitol Forum, reporting on data privacy and Big Tech competition, and contributing to the award-winning 'With Every Breath' investigation at ProPublica. Earlier in the career, Evan reported on significant shifts in rural healthcare and other local issues at the Jackson Hole News&Guide. Evan holds both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Northwestern University, completing advanced studies in investigative reporting.
