Jing Yang

Jing Yang currently serves as the Asia Bureau Chief at The Information, a position held since August 2023. Prior to this, Jing Yang was a Senior Correspondent and Asia Finance Reporter at The Wall Street Journal from September 2019 to June 2023, focusing on M&A, IPOs, private equity, and broader finance and business news in the region. Jing Yang's experience also includes a role as Associate Director of International Communications at Ant Financial, where communication strategies for European projects were led, as well as overseeing multimedia content related to Alipay. Previously, Jing Yang reported on significant Chinese conglomerates and the media industry at Bloomberg, conducted due diligence projects at Stroz Friedberg, and covered various business sectors at the South China Morning Post. Jing Yang began the career in journalism at Lloyd's List, covering the maritime industry in Asia, and has interned at the Financial Times.
