Ariel Figueroa

Co-founder & Chief Experience Officer at The Inheritance Project

Ariel Figueroa has a diverse range of work experience. In 2011, they worked as a Math Specialist at Promise Academy I, where they collaborated with administration to support teachers in implementing a new math program and worked with students in small groups to improve performance. From 2012 to 2014, Ariel worked as a Preschool Teacher at Corlears School, focusing on a child-centered approach to education. They also worked as a Pre-Kindergarten Teacher at Brooklyn Sandbox Early Learning Center, where they were responsible for curriculum planning and program implementation. In 2012, Ariel co-founded Three Gents Moving Co. In 2015, Ariel started their own business called Ariel Healing Arts, offering nature-based retreats and healing services. They also worked as a Thai Massage Practitioner and Teacher, integrating elements of yoga and meditation into their practice. Ariel's most recent work experience is as a Co-Founder and CXO at The Inheritance Project, guiding individual and collective inquiry into the past for a conscious future.

Ariel Figueroa pursued their education in a chronological manner. Ariel obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Sociology from the University at Albany, SUNY, attending from 2003 to 2007. Later, they pursued a Masters Degree in Childhood Education at Hunter College, from 2009 to 2011. In 2016, Ariel enrolled at the Pacific College of Health and Science and successfully completed an Associates of Occupational Studies in Massage Therapy from 2016 to 2018. During this program, they studied subjects such as Therapeutic Massage, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Essential Oils.
