Adrienne Coleman, MA is an experienced Special Education Teacher who has worked at The Inspired Teaching Demonstration School, The Children's Guild, Sligo Creek Elementary School, and St. Coletta of Greater Washington. Adrienne currently provides push in SPED services for 5th and 6th grade middle school students. Adrienne has a Master of Arts in Leadership in Teaching with a focus on STEM Education K-8 from Notre Dame of Maryland University and a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education/Special Education from Washington Adventist University.

At Inspired Teaching Demonstration Public Charter School, students learn through an academically challenging, standards-based curriculum that supports and builds their intellect, inquiry skills, imagination and integrity. Great teachers lead every classroom, instruction is individualized, and learning is joyful and engaging. Our school houses a Teacher Residency program in which Inspired Teaching Residents work towards full certification under the guidance and supervision of our master teachers. Students in each classroom benefit from the experience and expertise of Master Teachers and the energy and enthusiasm of new teachers. Once fully certified, our Inspired Teaching Residents graduate and go on to teach in other DC public and public charter schools. We’re striving to be a leader in improving the way teachers are trained and students are educated.
