Vice President, Strategic Initiatives at The Institute for Advanced Learning and Research

Amanda Hylton has a diverse work experience history. Amanda started their career in 2003 as a lead English teacher at Danville Public Schools, where they worked until December 2012. In 2013, they joined the Institute for Advanced Learning and Research as a Research Analyst, and they held this position until October 2015. From October 2015 to 2019, Amanda worked as a Program Administrator at Danville Community College. Amanda then joined The Institute for Advanced Learning and Research again in 2019, initially as a Program Coordinator, and later as a Program Manager from September 2020 to July 2022. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President, Strategic Initiatives at the same company, starting in July 2022.

Amanda Hylton's education history includes a Master of Business Administration degree from Averett University, which they obtained from 2007 to 2009. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in English with teacher certification and minoring in history and French, at Averett University from 1998 to 2002.
