Stewart East is currently the Senior Facilities Manager at The Institute for Advanced Learning and Research. Prior to this, Stewart held positions such as Facilities Maintenance Manager at the same institute and Geology Specialist at Virginia Uranium, Inc. Stewart also worked as a Process Specialist at Polynt Group. Stewart obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Administration and Management, General from Averett University, as well as an Associate's degree in Electricity/Electronics from Danville Community College.

It is located in scenic and historic Pittsylvania County on the VA/NC state line, within a short drive of Roanoke, Greensboro and Raleigh.
