Jody Figuerido

Jody Figuerido, Ph.D., is an experienced leader in early childhood education and professional development, currently serving as President and Owner of The Institute for Education and Professional Development, Inc. since May 2014, where the organization provides coaching, mentoring, course development, and training with CEU approvals. Additionally, Jody Figuerido has been involved in the StrongStart Grant under UMass, Boston since July 2019, focusing on professional development initiatives funded by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care. As a Federal Head Start Reviewer Consultant for Danya International LLC since September 2017 and an Advisory Council Member at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Jody Figuerido contributes to the advancement of early education standards. Previous roles include board membership at the Massachusetts Association for the Education of Young Children and adjunct faculty positions at several universities. Jody Figuerido holds a Doctorate in Adult Learning from Lesley University and a Master’s in Early Childhood Education.
