Associate Vice President, Behavioral Health at The Institute for Family Health

Benjamin Clemens, LCSW has a diverse work experience in the field of behavioral health and coordination. Starting in 1999, they worked as a Research Assistant at SUNY Plattsburgh. From 2001 to 2010, they worked at Crystal Run Village, Inc. where they held various roles including Behavior Therapy Technician, Medicaid Service Coordinator, and Clinical Coordinator.

In 2010, they joined The Institute for Family Health and held several positions such as Field Coordinator, EPIC SuperUser, and Acting Program Director. From 2013 to 2016, they worked as an Epic Analyst - Behavioral Health and later became the Director of Technology Implementation. Benjamin was promoted to Associate Vice President, Behavioral Health in January 2018, a position they currently hold.

Benjamin Clemens, LCSW holds a Master of Social Work degree from Fordham University, which was obtained from 2007 to 2010. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice at the State University of New York at Plattsburgh from 1996 to 2001. Benjamin is also a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, certified by the New York State Education Department in 2015. Furthermore, they have obtained an EpicCare Ambulatory Certification from Epic in 2014.
