Joan Sass

Joan Sass has a diverse work experience that spans several years. Joan currently serves as the Bronx Regional Director for Behavioral Health at The Institute for Family Health as of October 2022. Previously, they held the position of Clinical Director at New Horizons Counseling Center from November 2021 to January 2023. Prior to that, Joan worked as the Clinical Director at Catholic Charities of Brooklyn and Queens from September 2016 to November 2021. Joan also served as an Assistant Principal at the Theresa Paplin School at Sco Family of Services from March 2014 to September 2016. Before this, Joan worked as a Social Worker at Bellmore Public Schools from April 2007 to August 2011. Joan began their career in 2007 as a Student at Stony Brook University, where they studied until 2010.

Joan Sass obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Binghamton University from 1973 to 1977. Joan then pursued a Masters of Social Work from New York University from 1977 to 1979.
