Anthony Mazzella, Ph.D., is a New York City-based psychotherapist and psychoanalyst with over 20 years of clinical experience, operating a private practice since 1997. Dr. Mazzella trained at the Institute for Psychoanalytic Training and Research (IPTAR), where ongoing involvement includes roles as a faculty member, executive committee member, and director. Additional academic contributions include faculty positions and training supervision at The Metropolitan Institute for Training in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy and prior adjunct professorships at Fordham University and New York University. Dr. Mazzella holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Social Work from Fordham University, a post-graduate degree in Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy from IPTAR, and a Master’s degree in Social Work from Fordham University.
