Jimena Behrens

Jimena Behrens is a dedicated mental health professional with extensive experience in psychotherapy, specializing in child, adolescent, and adult therapy. Since 2011, Jimena has been affiliated with the Institute For Psychoanalytic Training And Research, providing psychotherapy and psychoanalysis. Previous roles include working at the Metropolitan Center for Mental Health from 2015 to March 2021, where family and group therapy were also integral to the practice, and serving as a psychologist at The Bridge Center from 2008 to 2011, focusing on psychological services for children and adolescents. Early training occurred at various institutions, including Unidade Basica de Saude do Estado de Sao Paulo and Clínica Psicológica Ana Maria Poppovic, where foundational skills in group and clinical psychology were developed. Jimena holds an M.A. in Child and Adolescent Clinical Psychology from USMA and a B.A. in Psychology from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo.
