Shakil Ahmed Khan

Shakil Ahmed Khan has extensive experience in the banking and financial services sector, currently serving as the Head of Institutional Relations at the Institute of Bankers Pakistan since September 2009, focusing on stakeholder relationship development. Prior to this role, Shakil held various leadership positions, including Head of Advisory & Consultancy at Viqar Ahmed & Co, General Manager at Al-Amal Cargo Transport by Heavy Trucks L.L.C, and Senior Credit Officer at Riyad Bank, where responsibilities included risk management. Earlier career highlights include serving as Vice President at Citi, managing the Country Custody business, and holding managerial roles at Samba Bank Ltd. and DVV-Tecon-Zachry. Shakil's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Commerce from the University of Karachi and a diploma in Islamic Studies from the DA’WAH Academy, International Islamic University.
