Currently serving as a Senior Information Technology Support Engineer at the National Institute of Banking and Finance (NIBAF) in Pakistan since July 2024, Waqar has also held the position of Senior Information Technology Support Engineer at The Institute of Bankers Pakistan since December 2017. Previous roles include IT Support Engineer at Iqra University from September 2017 to November 2017, Network Support Engineer at GCS Pvt. Limited from May 2017 to September 2017, and an internship at National Telecommunication Corporation in June 2016. Waqar holds a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Iqra University, completed in 2016.
